Another eight things you probably didn't want to know!

I've been tagged again, this time by Jodie over at Avinak. Jodie is one of the regulars at All for Women, an aussie forum I've joined recently.

A. Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves.

B. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed.

C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

I can't remember what I listed last time so hopefully I don't repeat myself.

I have to wear glasses for driving.

I once spent the night locked in a London loo.

My favourite alcholic drink is white wine

I once slept the night on the backseat of a Mini when I got lost in the Scottish highlands.

I rode a camel in Australia.

I'd never steal candy from a baby, but I would probably steal their chocolate!

I never iron anything unless it really needs it.

I hate being cold more than almost anything.

Well, I do hope that little lot has enriched your lives! Right - I'm tossing my eight tags in the air. Jump high, my friend. Got it? Then consider yourself tagged!

p.s. you must be tiny to sleep in the backseat of a mini!

There must be quite a story attached to the London loo incident.
Most interesting list. I've ridden a camel in Australia, too. Fun as it was it sure made my legs ache. And I'm totally with you on the ironing front.
I've been tagged for something similar and will have a list at prozacpalace today. Sorry for the shameless plug, but I felt the need to explain why I wasn't taking you up on your kind offer.

Talia - Yes, I was alone but I'm not particularly tiny - 5ft 6" which is a lot of woman to squash into the back seat of a Mini which is probably about 3ft long! It took me a day to get all the kinks out!

Leah - Ahh, the London loo episode! The moral - never storm out of your flat in a hizzy fit without taking your keys! Especially if you're too proud to knock on the door and ask to be let back in!

No problem about not grabbing a meme tag - I always leave it very optional because I know not everyone is into them and some folk are just too darn busy.

Dawn I am so excited, I hope this link posts:

Ordinarily I would be posting an article from Women's Health magazine called "100 ways to burn 100 calories" on Crabby's blog BUT are you ready . . .?

#56 Strap a parachute to your back and spend thirty minutes skydiving over the volcanoes in Tongariro national Park, NZ.

#57 Land in the Taupo volcanic Zone and climb 26% of the way up in eighteen minutes.

#58 Cool down with 20 minutes of whitewater rafting in the nearby Tongariro River.

I was reading the magazine (in paper not on line) when I came across #'s 56, 57 and 58.

I would love to do these, but, alas, geography prevents.

So, Dawn, perhaps you could represent the group? Don't forget to tighten the straps on the chute. It would probably be more comfortable than the night in the mini or even the night in the loo.

Terrie - Much as I'm tempted, much as I'm tempted, I opted for no 53.

53. E-mail for 68 minutes!

Sounds great though, doesn't it. Might be a little bleak and wintery at the moment!

Ooh, eight people...that's a lot of comments. In fact, that would be everyone on my blogger friends list (hmm...I really should update that)! I'll have to think about it, since I just got tagged by Howard von Darkmoor. I was about to tag you with it, but it looks like you've got a full plate.

Anyway, interesting list. Just to let you know, I don't even own an iron, so you can imagine what my clothes look like!

Sorry I haven't been around lately. For a while there I had trouble with blogger comments and couldn't get into them...even on my blog. I'm glad I finally got in and can say hello to my fellow bloggers!

Oh, I see you probably already know about my blogger trouble, since you commented again on Cranky Fitness. Man, she's popular, isn't she? I thinks she's well on her way to conquering the blogger world (haha)!

Michael - Good to see you again. Crabby is indeed going from strength to strength which is just as well because I'm always on the look out for friends that are good for name-dropping! I feel that in six months time, the phrase "my close friend the Crab" will open doors for me all over the blogosphere!

Patricia - Nice to meet up with you. I've noticed you on the AFW forum - with a name like that, you're hard to miss!

Dawn I forgot to tell you that my Hubby used to live near Taupo. He is English but he came to NZ to manage a dairy farm in Reporoa (spelling?) for a couple of years and then we found love online and he moved over to Australia.

I am going to keep an eye out for your book..I am sure it would interest him as well as me. :)

Patricia - Your husband must be finding the change in climate a shock because Reporoa gets really cold in the winter.

On my website there are a couple of links for Aussie booksellers that have the book. I've just dropped off the Best Sellers List so buy, buy, buy! Will post about my fall from grace tonight!

Haha! I have a sneaking suspicion that you're right, Dawn.
